Traffic usage overall is shown by unit time with full drill-in capability to specific usage at particular times (month, day, hour etc.)
Additional insight reports are available for all bearers supported by AdaptiveMobile's PCF including SMS, MMS and Email traffic.
Filtering reports show top reasons why traffic transactions are blocked or modified, i.e. the results of the Policy Filter engine(s). This can be especially useful in detection of "over-blocking" (Policy set too rigidly), or in the production of reports specifically related to regulatory requirement meeting. As with the other section of the Advanced reporting system, reports are broken down by individual bearer, and feature complete drill through in both reasons and the time domain.

Email Filtering report showing Email rejection reasons.
Security reports provide an insight into the level of problems associated with Spam or malware in the network. Reports are broken down by malware type, bearer, device and OS type.Security reports are particularly of use in asssessing the extent of malware propagation in the network, as well as providing specific infected MSISDN information and (where available) infected device types. These can be used in conjunction with the AdaptiveMobile Malware Recovery Module to effectively cleanse infected users, whilst also providing information for pro-active care instances of repeat infection users or users who are not responding to notifications.
In a similar vein, Spam messaging represents an unwanted nuisance that can frequently lead to customer dissatisfaction. The Policy Control Framework can automatically detect and filter out SPAM messaging across SMS, Email, and the MMS bearers, before it reaches key core elements or end subscribers.
This section of the Advanced Reporting system provides the heart of the subscriber insight/ propensities functionality required to deliver mobile advertising or other "targeted" (individual subscriber specific) services.A major value-add of the AdaptiveMobile Policy Control Framework from other filtering solutions, is its ability to provide unique policies for subscribers (for consumer self-care and corporate environments). For services that require targeting of adverts, an initial analysis of user activity is required in order to build up a profile of interests. The Advanced Reporting system enables operators to define characteristics of user behaviour that is relevant to brands in the targeting of their adverts. Segmentation allows operators to successfully sell advertising inventory by providing brands with metrics on the attributes of their subscribers.Understanding the demographics of addressable users helps brand in placing their campaigns. The Advanced Reporting system can provide propensity information at either the network overall (all subscribers), specific groups of subscribers, or the individual level.
The illustration above shows a summary of the overall usage from a single subscriber, seen over a period of time. As above, the records can be drilled into view the same data over a more granular time period.
